CHAPEL HILL
After its public reading at the National Black Theatre, New York, as part of its “Keep Soul Alive” play reading series, “Ga-AD!” was selected as part of the syllabus for the course "African Women in Theatre" class of 2013 by Prof. Kathy Perkins.
“Ga-AD!” is a bold and bawdy take on Pentecostal evangelism and the so-called prosperity gospel and the place of women in this prosperity.
