The Prince Claus Fund announces the 2018 Prince Claus Awards!
The Prince Claus Awards honour visionary individuals and organisations for their excellent, ground-breaking work in fields of culture and development.
HRH Prince Constantijn will present the Awards during the ceremony at the Royal Palace, Amsterdam on 6 December.
Ugandan filmmaker and theatre practitioner Adong Judith, was the big winner at the 2020 Durban Film Mart award ceremony held Sunday September 13th 2020. Ms. Adong rode on the back of the script of her upcoming feature film titled “Between Worlds” to scoop two awards namely the DFM TALENTS DURBAN AWARD (South Africa) and the International Emerging Film Talent Association (IEFTA) Award at the 11th edition of the Durban Film Mart. Both endorsements affirm her desire to direct the film whose script she wrote.
Silent Voices Uganda Artistic Director Adong Judith and celebrated Ugandan Musician Kaz Kasozi have added their voice to the COVID-19 fight through the United Nations Global Call Out To Creatives - help stop the spread of COVID-19 by releasing a song dubbed
“Earth Angels”.
